Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to Little Giraffes Childminding Nursery—and thank you so much for taking the time to find out more about us. My name is Shireen, and I’m the owner and registered childminder here at Little Giraffes. I’m so proud to offer a setting that’s not only warm and loving, but truly feels like a home-from-home for the children in our care.

Little Giraffes is a unique childminding nursery where we combine the personal, nurturing approach of childminding with the structure and learning opportunities of a nursery environment. We are passionate about giving children the very best start, and we know just how important these early years are in shaping their future.

Our practice is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and we’ve developed a curriculum that supports each child’s learning and development through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences. We observe closely, follow each child’s interests, and create activities that build confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

My team and I work hard to build strong, trusting relationships with both children and their families. We want you to feel completely at ease, knowing your child is happy, safe, and thriving with us.
